I've attempted to create a blog exactly thirteen times before this. This could well have been the fourteenth failed attempt, if I had not managed to crack the captcha on the fifth try. So now you have the umpteen-millionth virtual journal, my responsible contribution to the mountain of cyber-junk (and they still claim Mount Everest is the world's highest peak !). To all my friends, who I suspect will be the only readers of this blog, this is the least I could do to spice up your mandatory hours in office, in return for all the food, drink, conversation and general merriment you have given me over the years.
P.S. The past thirteen aborted attempts have left me with as many blog names. I could offer to sort them thematically and pass one or two suitable ones your way, should any of you (god forbid!) get stuck on a name for your blog.
